Pro tip, people don’t seem to realize that Nintendo wants to avoid any political drama it can, so real-world rep will be limited to only the safest, most famous and politically safe locations. This apples to both pokemon region inspirations and choices for the Mario Kart cities. China, India, Africa, South America etc regions will never happen and the next region will likely be Canada, USA again, Italy, Greece, Germany, the Netherlands, Australia, Singapore or Japan again, going by countries greenlighted by Nintendo to also be in Mario Kart
