I don't know if anyone else feels the same as I do regarding Scorbunny, but there's something about him that seems.. off. Don't get me wrong, he's very cute and all, but he's the first design where I genuinely feel it looks like a fakemon. Back when the Gen 7 starter evos were leaked, I immediately knew they were real because they had that "je ne sais quoi" that only real designs have. Both Grookey and Sobble fill that perfectly, I think that they match previous starters wonderfully and they feel right at home with everyone else, they look like actual Pokemon, but Scorbunny just doesn't. I don't know what it is, if it's the fact that he's taller than the average starter, or rounder, or the thin legs, I really don't know. If he had leaked before the trailer I honest to god would have thought he was fake, and he's seriously the only mon in the entire franchise to make me feel this way. Grookey and Sobble look 100% like Pokemon, but Scorbunny honestly looks like a fakemon, and even though he's cute that makes me unable to really like him.
