This is my second Nuzlocke, and I've heard that HG runs are pretty difficult. I gave myself a mercy clause that I feel is costly enough to not completely damper the experience, but outside of two very rough early deaths (Zoomer and Britney), it hasn't been that bad. I do spend a lot of time grinding to make sure my everyone in my team is at least within a level or two level of the strongest mon of the next major encounter, so I'm not sure if I'm just overleveling or if I'm being too lenient with this rule.
Anyway, I just caught Ho-oh (now Kagari Alt), and I'm about to start grinding for Victory Road. If Kagari proves too overpowered, I'll probably bin it. I still need to fill my last slot, and I think my best bets are grinding up Noodle, Kaina, or Zeke (especially since he got blessed with an Adamant nature). I just hope they don't get owned while grinding...
