>>43153929Nuzlocking a rom hack of gale of darkness that is essentially a gen 6-7 overhaul. Many new pokemon to be caught with very diverse movesets. The MVP is umbreon. He's carrying my entire team as a wish-cleric with snarl and can really push his team mates to his limits with helping hand. The one holding me back is strangely my salamance. I took so much care of it to make sure it wouldn't bite the dust, and then it evolved. Yeah, it can wreck ass, but the games AI is lazer focused on getting rid of the most dangerous pokemon, and will double tap with both attacks if it suspect it will kill. I send in salamance. Wreck shit for a turn, he gets too harmed, and I send him out after a single turn.
Past nuzlockes: I am currently on a break from my generation-locke. Just finished generation 3, and decided I needed to take a vacation in Orré. My favourite has got to be generation 1. Yeah, the technical stuff sucks and I agree, but that marowak-pokedoll-glitch giving you access to 90% of the map after the 2nd gym if you can beat gary in the tower(not difficult considering the retarded AI), and you have the recipe for the most open ended gameplay experience EVER. Least favourite is gen 2, just for the end game. My rules state that you must finish off the strongest trainer in the game to finish a nuzlocke, and grinding for the battle with red is just not fun.
The "no name" trainers that I NEVER EVER underestimate has to be the winstrate family. Mother fuckers always find a way to ruin my good vibes by always taking at least one of my mons down with them.
Pic related, my team finishing off emerald after having to retrain a new team from scratch after succumbing to 4 sheer colds.
