Here's the deal my good nigs.
This was my team that I used way back when in LeafGreen. They were my original team of bros. I want to rebuild that team now in X/Y, only with good IVs/EVs/movesets/etc.
What do you guys think would be the best way to make this team as good as possible? I already have a Venusaur and Gyarados bred and trained, but now the others must be attended to. I'm also replacing Zapdos with a Gengar that I already have likewise bread and trained, for all the reasons you'd imagine I would want to axe the legendary.
Gyarados is Adamant with EVs in Attack and Speed, with the small rest in HP. Moves are Waterfall, Earthquake, Ice Fang, and Dragon Dance.
Venusaur is Sassy with EVs in HP and Special Defense, with the small rest in attack. Moves are Energy Ball, Earthquake, Leech Seed, and Toxic.
Gengar is Timid with EVs in HP and Speed with the small rest in Defense. Moves are Sludge Bomb, Confuse Ray, Curse, and Substitute.
So with Pidgeot, Ninetales, and Dragonite, what builds would go best with these 3? I'm assuming that Adamant rush-n-rape builds are the only viable ones that Pidgeot and Dragonite can go for, and I can at the very least stall with Pidgeot using Sand Attack.
For Ninetales though, would it be best to go the Confuse + Burn strat, with Protect to help stall?
I'm open to pretty much all advice, sans "git better mons fagget".
