>>41262865It's not so much that it can't have some nice moments or be enjoyable, as much as it's the fact that the fandom ruins everything about it.
They live on a constant war with essentially all the other sides of the Pokémon franchise (specially the anime) because of a dumbass quote that Satoshi Tajiri made millennia ago, the presence of "mature topics", which is a load of horseshit since it's still made for children (just look at pic-related for an instance); and because they can't take criticism, which is why they "moved" to /a/ and why I had them seething for like five months before "quitting" (I wanted to, but SS leaks were so close I couldn't leave, and then a chilean bitch made remember why I got so angry at Special to begin with).
Frankly, disregarding whether Specialfags are being toxic to others or not, they need to learn that their manga is going to be subject to the same criticisms as other things Pokémon-related, and because of that, they shouldn't take the "edgy fanfiction" comments so seriously.
