It's time for my yearly Pokemon marathon
This time I want my "journey" to feel more interactive, so I'm kinda stumped on what I should do. Previously, I'd just finish the game and transfer over my final team to the latest game and then unite them once I got there, but I feel like that lacks the sort of spirit we see in the anime where Ash is constantly rotating teams not only with Pokemon he catches in the same region, but with Pokemon from previous regions as well. So I'm kinda stumped on how to incorporate that sort of mechanic into one of my playthroughs. Here are my options
>pick a starter, keep it unevolved, then transfer it over to the next region and reset his level
>pick a starter, evolve it, breed it, then use his son in the next region
>use the leftover low level shitmons from the previous region in the new region
>have a brand new team for the ingame but bring back all the old Pokemon for the battle facilities and postgame
I don't know. Thoughts?
