Its depressing when they put so much effort into how important love and friendship was in both the shows, the movies, and the games. Shit I mean... Wasn't it pokemon X/Y that literally made your pokemon basically invincible if you loved them enough? I mean it was a silly game-breaking mechanic but I adored the sentiment behind it.
