The games story is overall the best story Pokémon has had period imo, to the point a friend who dislikes Mystery Dungeon gameplay does not dispute that it has a good story. It aint a perfect story, and gameplay is on aquired taste. But its pretty much the most soul filled Pokémon game I've ever played.
