when we were first drafting the design documents almost two years ago, we had initially gotten
New Zealand -> Australia
But we realized New Zealanders would probably be bummed by this. So we revised it to
Cook Islands -> Anguilla -> New Zealand
Heard and McDonald Islands -> Turks and Caicos Islands -> Australia
This way people from more populous countries aren't cancelled out. If you live in the Cook Islands though... damn, that sucks.
