I am a massive Johtobabby and I can point out several flaws.
>didn't fix the poor distribution of Pokemon>didn't fix the poor distribution of TMs>didn't fix the poor level scaling that starts right at Olivine Gym>same admittedly weak Team Rocket storyline from GSC>watered down Silver to almost cringe levels of pathetic>Ethan/Lyra>mandatory legendary battle>HMs needed to get to Victory Road and Cinnbar Gym (small point but still a nuisance)I could ignore the lack of TMs and Pokemon distribution in GSC because the Physical/Special split hadn't happened, but it's much more noticeable in HGSS. Still my favorite games in the entire franchise, though.
