Serena did Rhyhorn Racing, the PokeVision, fishing, grooming, cooking, Sky Battling, tag battling, and had her first official battle all within those 50 episodes. Not only that, she started her journey, stood up to and defeated her mom, got over her dirty stigma, and went on a date and got a gift from Ash, and competed in her first Tripokalon while also cutting her hair to signify her fresh new start all by episode 60.
Nothing about Koharu has changed from the start of the series to this 20th mark besides her being a little bit nicer to Yamper who we never found out why she was cold to it in the first place. The only thing Koharu has done besides go to school is go orienteering which she literally did nothing but walk along even though she was supposed to be a guide, and chastise Go for not explaining the Pokémon when she could’ve as well. If I was a sad Koharufag I would wish she got even a speck of as much love as the writers gave to Serena
