Needless to say, Amorphous Harbor wasn't as busy in the winter as it was during the summer, aside from the consistent export and import of things.
So it came to a surprise when a bunch of townsfolk had discovered the S.S.S "Spookadook" (what kind of name is that?) docked and ready to sail. Some were left with depression, as without a ticket or invite, they were refrain from getting on board.
Let alone the fact that tickets were twice their yearly salary anyhow.
"Wobbs? Shouldn't we be getting on board now? The ship's about to leave and these bags are heavy..."
I sighed in return to my sidekick's incompetence with carrying a bag of vacation necessities, "Not yet, Quags. I have a feeling we were invited here for a reason, reasons that don't sit well with me. Go ahead on board if you want, but I'm going to speak some of the passengers that haven't board yet, y'know, maybe get a good idea on who we're traveling with."
Quags decides not to board, if not just to show me how patient he was, "Alrighty then. But let's make it quick at least, keep in mind it's freezing out here!"
"I've made mental notes of it.
He isn't very tolerant in retrospect.
