meta used to be: set-up as much as you can as fast as you can and cruise from there. with garbodor attacking for 1 energy and being a 1 prize attacker, it doesnt work that way anymore
you now have to keep your item count in mind, both when building and playing, supporters are seen in higher counts, and the best support card in the format isnt Shaymin-EX but Tapu Lele-GX now; you can look it up but here is a quick summary: drop it and you can grab a supporter from your deck, it also has an attack that is good ol Mewtwo EX's Evil Ball, but without the ability to hit for weakness (or be resisted for that matter)
