Can't say this was fun in any way, because it really fucking wasn't, but it's nowhere near as dogshit fucking awful like Celebi was. GRD Empoleon was ironically the easiest part of the fight, it just melts to strong Fire hits, the real big issues is the incredibly strong Ice types getting free speed boosts on the field, especially Alolan Ninetails who has Diancie's signature move because fuck you and Mamoswine just deleting everything from existence and taking almost no damage, I love it how the moment I put aspear berries on my Pokemon to counteract the freeze, I never got frozen once.
