I've begun lurking since the release of Pokemon X and Y.
As someone who has not played Pokemon since the original fire, blue and yellow games for the Gameboy Color, I have to say that I'm not rather knowledgeable on the Pokemon universe.
I chose to buy Pokemon X and so far I'm greatly enjoying it and it brings back childhood memories.
However I have to say that the story was lacking.
My entire drive throughout the game was to be the best and that was perfectly fine for me.
I didn't need a major story to have fun, however the fact that they tried to add some over arching plot just for it to fall flat was rather disappointing.
More so since I heard about how Black and White had a rather enjoyable story arc with characters you actually grew interested in.
