Still played the crap out of my emerald
I had a save file with over 800 hours on it if you can believe that
But it was also the last pokemon game I ever bought and the last one I played as a teenager on an actual nintendo console
So yeah, I guess they sort of killed it for me
Wish I had stuck around for gen4 though, that one was good and it would have given me some good memories
