>>57016887In some strange far off Alternate Universe, SV would've somehow been worse than it already is. SWSH was mostly designed with uprezed 3DS specs in mind, which is why it was still mostly functional. If SV proved anything is that the "main" team has no fucking idea how to do console development, and they still probably would've still made Let's Go, and it eat away from valuable dev support, to saying nothing about Little Town Hero.
It's a toss up on if the theoretical "gen 10 SWSH" would've been actual step forward or be the same bland and safe game we know it was now.
I guess we're still waiting to see now if SV had any actual positive impact on the franchise
