>>34944859>>34944157>>34943614>OrbatomBasically the same commnts I have towards Atomite, though based on what i'm testing so far, expanding the highlight on his forehead by 1 pixel out actually works better then getting rid of it, alongside making it a bit less bright. I'm also concerned you guys may have reduced his sprite size TOO much, here's barely bigger then atomite.
That being said, compared to Koffing and Pineco's sprites , which are also 2' and have the same body shape roughly, he looks fine (since sprite size comparsions with gf mons is part of sprite QC), so it's probably not a big deal.
>DraggarOverall, this is a massive improvement and the sprite is almost good enough to be final if it needed to be finalized, IMO, but there's a few issues: The eye was reduced a bit too much in size. The eye itself looks better, but I think if you compare the sketch in pic related to the sprite and the art, then you'd see the sketch matches the art more and the sketch has bigger eyes then the new backsprite here, and just in terms of shape, if you look at the art, the bottom should have a bit of a rounded point to it. The mouth in both the front and back should be made more angular and sharp as well to match the art, if possible
My other conceern with the backsprrite is I don't think the tail should be visible at this angle, It'd be off screen towards the bottom. The webbing at the back of the neck on the frontsprite is also sort of sloppy in terms of linework. on that note, the transition from the back of the head to the "horn" that makes the start of the webbing on the frill looks sort of off compared to the art: in the art, the horn just juts out of the back with the head still being a rounded dome, wheras in the backsprite, the black part of the head almost looks like it forms a boulbous cap due to how the "horn" is sprited.
