There's nothing bad with Pokémon that are ugly if they aren't destined to be cute as their main purpose.
People who pretend Pokémon designs are just images and try to rate them only seeing their artwork (such as every Pokétuber on existence) doesn't know nothing about how Pokémon species are designed and accepted by the quality department, they deserve no one to pay attention to their opinions.
