>>36804042>>36804056I think the point he was trying to make is that Masuda is even afraid to give the MC a personality with facial expressions so instead the SM/USUM protag is nearly expressionless in several situations despite having the camera aimed at them as though they're supposed to be having an emotional reaction.
The LGPE protagonists also suffer a similar issue, where they always have pointed angry eyebrows even when they're supposed to be smiling/happy. Chase is arguably worse than Elaine, but Elaine still has it in some shots.
