>>49128929Well, most of the mega trainers weren't worth writing home about.
Anyway, onto the Light of Ruin base raid. The Shadow Warriors were all dealt with easily by Mega Altaria.
>Light of Ruin Leader AkloveTeam - Ribombee, Manaphy, Registeel, Tapu Bulu, Mega Gardevoir, Hoopa-Unbound. Even though he looks like a twink and makes a your mom joke, he at least has a fun battle theme.
Torkoal leads, Flamethrowers Ribombee and Rapid Spins its Sticky Web away as he swaps to Manaphy. I swap to near-max specially defensive Abomasnow as it Tail Glows, prompting a swap to Tapu Bulu. I swap to Whimsicott and Giga Drain as he chooses to swap to Manaphy, letting me kill it with another. He sends in the big threat, Choice Scarf Hoopa-Unbound, but Torkoal resists both of its elemental punches and is an easy swap. Aklove makes the genius play of swapping into Bulu on my Flamethrower to try and High Horsepower I guess but gets fucked by a burn.
Back out is Hoopa again, this time I send in Clefable. He swaps Registeel, I swap Torkoal, and what follows is an annoying sequence of trying to break through paralysis and Iron Head flinching to take this stupid thing down with Flamethrowers. Finally Bronzong killed off Mega Gardevoir, being Heatproof to walk through Mystical Fire. His near-dead Ribombee was an afterthought.
>GiratinaThis one's gimmick is that I can't change my team after Aklove, though you are at least healed and can change up items and such. Still, I imagine someone could get softlocked here...
Anyway, it was easy. Torkoal Clear Smogs its omniboost away, Ribombee Switcheroos a Flame Orb on it, then Clefable stalls it to death.
>>49134657Congrats anon! And goddamn that's a lotta trades.
>>49134757RIP, it's a tough game and Darach is one of the hardest bosses. Good luck if you ever try again.
>>49135157Armaldo is nice for Battle Armor, but Cradily has a better typing and more variety overall I think
