How fucking awful taste can you have? Kanto was dull as fuck, and Johto was pretty fucking unmemorable though HG/SS did admittedly breathe new life into it at least. The others are debatable, but Johto and Kanto being that low with only Hoenn below them is fucking retarded.
Sinnoh > Hoenn > Johto > Unova > Kanto
Still haven't played XY though, so Kalos might be on top, but I doubt it'll be better than Sinnoh. That entire game had the most comfy travel feeling. I don't dislike the water in Hoenn, but several things in Sinnoh, especially the northern parts and Mt.Coronet, were really memorable.
