>>39828149>The collecting aspect of it is in a sense competitive as there needs to be a desire/incentive to walk around and keep playing itThat is your opinion. The game is completionist, not competitive. If you choose to play it that way that's fine, but you can't compare completing the dex as a competition.
>You didn't walk the kilometers or the work to get where you are. You are lying to the Pogo community everytime you talk about your pokemon. The kilometers are to be used for your health, not as a badge of honor. You can choose to consider it as a badge of honor but it doesm't make it so. I'm not saying you shouldn't pat yourself on the back for walking 10km a day, just don't act like it's a requirment to play pogo. I'm near pokestops lured daily and I don't have to put in KMs, that doesn't mean I'm a cheater.
>Not at all. They live near a stop and use. If they lie about being in that spot when they are really on the opposite side of town, they they are cheatingBy that logic then anyone who GPS drifted is lying to the pogo community because they caught something out of their reach where they weren't in that exact spot or within range without gps drifting. Spoofing really isn't a big deal, except to ruralfags. But thats an issue they need to bring up with Niantic, it has nothing to do with spoofers.
>Not really, but they should realize that they are playing the game on baby mode.C'mon now, now you're just creating criteria to make you a valid player while everyone else isn't.
>Just stop cheating. Seek help if you need to.I don't spoof though, but I doubt you'll ever believe me. I don't have a problem with spoofers, they don't affect my gameplay which is to have fun catching pokemon with my friend. If this were a discussion about injected IVs I could understand your pain.
