>>48524173Actually, something to consider here is that maybe when a Pokemon actually dies it loses its primary element entirely, hence the normal typing. Zorua/Zoroark were "reset" in a way, but rather than fully dying their vengeful spirits lingered and revived the corpse, hence ghost.
Adapting to "normal" makes no sense considering they still have their illusion powers in this lore, so this fixes any possible confusion so long as people can accept they actually did die and are "undead" in a sense. They technically aren't like other ghost types either for this very reason.
