I seriously don't think they're even able to be in safaris, because nowhere online does anyone have them either. So, I'm wondering how to go about getting 4-5 IVs on a pokemon I can't get in the safari. How difficult is it to catch a pokemon with 2-3 perfect IVs I can breed with my dittos?

I traded for a level 1 deerling on the gts because the concept really interested me. When I got him he was spring form and even though its October he's still in spring form. I've heard he won't change form if you catch him or get him from an egg, but a lot of people say he will change form and that it works for them.

I'm confused. Does he change form? If so, how do I make it happen? My whole reason for getting the Pokemon was his form changes.
