Pokemon is literally about animals fighting, why the hell wouldn't you make a Tauros that fights in a region based on a country renowned for goddamn bullfighting. These massive billboards in pic related are all around Spain, and they aren't depicting a goddamn Matador.

On the other hand the matador taunts (a dark type move) to goad the bull into aggression and uses feints and other tricks to compensate for their massive speed/power disadvantage.
