Not only did she pull her own weight around in my White game (sweeping both Iris and Dennis all by her lonesome) but when it came time for my White 2 game I had her make an egg to transfer over that ended up bearing a shiny (male) Snivy to carry on her dragon-slaying ass-whipping legacy. I don't care if she's not the best starter or the best grass waifu or anything - she's my favorite.
