>>48619630Jumpluff is kinda the Pokemon I associate with the laidback nature of Johto in general, plus I just really like its design, cute Pokemon be like that and all, honestly I might also just have a degree of nostalgia for it cause I really don't like Whimsicott or Eldegoss.
As for Clefable well again it's the cute design aspect but also I like how easy it is to just work a Clefable onto a team, its vast movepool makes it just work really well, there's not really a stand out time where Clefable has really saved my ass in any playthrough but it's never really faltered either.
Although funny thing about Clefable being the Fairy-Rep, because I wanted a different Pokemon in each type I ended up moving Pokemon around so that the most Pokemon in my top spots overall would appear on the sheet so in reality Clefable is my No.2 favourite Fairy-Type behind Ribombee who's my No.2 favourite Bug-Type behind Ledian who's my No.2 favourite Flying-Type behind Jumpluff, so it's this weird case of a chain in my favourite Pokemon overall that results in Clefable being there more than anything.
