Neo the Shinx, my starter, died in Victory Road. My rival whipped out an YVELTAL that Neo switched into and intimidated. It charged up a Sky Attack -- best case scenario. Unfortunately, Sky Attack can flinch -- something I had completely forgotten about. I thought I could survive its next attack but it decided to fucking HYPER BEAM and Neo dropped. Mr. Vile the Tyrunt came in on the recharge turn and hit a crit Rock Tomb to take it out.
I left Victory Road at Lv 78 so I grinded everyone to Lv 80 (and got a Munchlax to the same level). Wish me luck. Every battle is a potential wipe from here.
