I'm not even a huge Turner hater like a lot of people here are but I honestly wonder if him leaving had something to do with it. I genuinely like every new Pokemon so far with the exception of Sprigatito and Pawmi which is far more than I've said about the starters or earlymons for any prior gen within the past decade.
