That was September 30th, there were at least 40 people that got the invite for it

How do they even decide? I mean, I know it's supposed to be "lol teh randumb Xd" which is Niantic's motto. But seriously? It's been over a month and they didn't hand out enough to even fight it.
It doesn't make sense at all.
