>>53527639I almost only used shitmons from first routes and almost never gave them TMs, always kept their very first, weak moves while replacing some of their moves with slightly better ones. I thought playing the games efficiently was basically cheating. I almost never used pokemon given by NPCs either for the same reason. I stopped playing like this after I played a lot of JRPGs from other franchises much later.
