>>53843030I hate gen 9. it starts with the foundational gameplay. where its just bad. the camera following the player is too far for handheld play. as well as the graphics dont make it any better. in comparison to SWSH, the pokemon are easy to spot and observe even at a distance. because the graphics are good as well as the camera in relation to the player is closer.
the world in itself feels also closer to the player. its almost like they did this inetentionally in gen 9 to give the illusion that its bigger than it actually is.
speaking also on the foundational gameplay, when coming from LA, the idea on "how to play" the game was ultimately better.
where it was rewarding being stealthy and tactical in approach and capturing a pokemon.
where you could use items and speed, as well as the ability to dodge and play cocky with agro pokemon also made that enjoyable.
this is good foundational playstyle that makes open world fun.
while this was just riding on the back of a shitmon with a camera too far away, and graphics so shitty to see anything.
its just not tha tfun of a game.
