The planning for the next game is well underway, after BDSP, the next remake of an older game will actually be an Emerald remake. This game was tossed as an idea awhile back and was to incorporate combined elements of ORAS and Emerald, including the full Battle Frontier. They pushed the game aside because of the Switch, to bring it back later for the console. The announcement of Legends: Arceus was to get an idea of how fans would react to a stand-alone, third version-esque game. Delta Emerald will be coming in 2023. Expect a more open version of Hoenn than ORAS, in a style similar to SwSh or maybe LGPE. Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion will be in the game. The fan-requested Battle Frontier does make its return. There’s a possibility of new Megas, based on how their return in BDSP goes. A Jirachi side quest might be developed. That is all for now.
