I just finally finished Pokemon Moon for the first time. It took me ages despite having it since launch because i thought gen 7 was mostly unfun and too cutscene ridden/handholdy.

anyways, the thing is, I still care enough to go for my living dex (I have verything pre gen 7 and actually not much of gen 7 because it seemed like they wer trying to hide new pokemon from me the entire time). So my quiestion is this: do I continue to run post game Moon to collect UB's remaining pokemon then move to Ultra Sun or should I just skip to US now and do the cleanup collecting there?

Probably because it was blatantly obvious their promotions were trying to recreate Lucario's success and force it into popularity. When GameFreak noticed the fanbase wasn't biting, they shifted gears to promoting Zekrom, who had already achieved popularity naturally.

He overheard me talking to some other relatives about my computer programming classes and bugged me about making a game about his made up pikachu ripoff the rest of the night. To be honest it was kind of adorable

I also gave him a mewtwo figure i found in my closet and a shiny entei card for xmas. he was SUPER excited and thought they were awesome but had no idea who they were. It was cute watching him rush and stuff it in his backpack so he could show it off to his friends at school.

I got pissed off for a few days but then sat there thinking about how I had never finished gen 3 because they were all so bad but I decided to give it another shot.

I still haven't finished a single game in that shitty fucking generation. I stopped YET AGAIN at the 7th gym. I literally forced myself to get that far too because I like Mega Lopunny.

You may have to make a thread about this tomorrow or smoething because I don't know if I can finish those before this thread dies. I've been showcasing Sonic Heroes for a friend who has never seen how bad it and Ow the Edge are and then playing better games for breaks since I finished that first one. I'm running a pokemon thing in a -sort of- DnD way. Sort of because I'm not really using pen and paper, but using showdown for battles. the way I'm running it isn't the point, but I have a whole game somewhat planned out and while I feel it makes enough sense, I would like some input from somewhere that people know pokemon a bit more than me since the only other person I can really discuss the plot with is my Boyfriend who thinks ENTIRELY too much about pokemon and how its world works without my interaction.

I was bored the other day and decided to separate megas into their generations.

this was the results:
Gen1 - 16
Gen2 - 3
Gen3 - 15 (17 counting primal)
Gen4 - 5
Gen5 - 1
Gen6 - 1

I had a discussion with a friend about Primal vs Megas as well. I think they count in this regard but he didn't so I made the distinction in the list.

In any case, does anyone think this may give us an Idea of how many megas we may end up with?
