>>55096953It's funny because Wally (who many noticed he's kinda like a light-side Kieran in term of story and character) had a pretty similar storyline in Masters (without the edge and mental instability): a competition is quickly approaching and Wally goes full "i must be stronger" autist, and goes on a battling rampage. Other characters and even his own Gardevoir tells him to calm the fuck down. He has a flashback about Brendan, realize battling is about your bonds and having fun, then apologize to his pokemon.
Moral of the story: shy shotas are susceptible of becoming sweaty tryhards
