>>54039272I just beat Lance in Crystal. I really enjoyed this squad. It only took me two days to get the shiny Suicune but I noticed my luck ended up being pretty shit during the E4 (some highlights I remember were five Paralyzed turns in a row, five Sleep turns in a row, and three Rock Slide misses in a row) so I guess it balances out. Scizor ended up being the weak link by a long shot. I have no idea how that thing is UUBL other than so many people assuming it does the same stuff as it does now, especially with the BP ban. On the other hand Golem was easily the MVP. I was expecting people to be over-reacting when they said Golem was OP in Johto but I can now safely say they are correct. Near the end I traded it to a Yellow cart to teach it Rock Slide which made things very funny. I’m planning to complete Kanto and Stadium 2, and then I’ll try to send at least Suicune to the modern games.
