>>18905730Oh, yeah, that reminds me, I finished this.
---------------------------------------------
In regards to the agaunaut sprite comfy made: There's a lot off.
- The size, placement, and perspective on the head is off. It's tiny, and that combined with the placement makes it look like his head is in front of his body, or without a neck, with his chin touching his pecs
- His legs are too small compared to his torso
- His left arm, as seen in
>>18851735 , has an entirely different structure from his right arm.
- His body shape, and shoulders, and arms, aren't shaped like how they are in the art and sketches provided by the artist for the design.
In the complete skeletal overlay here, you can even see, the upper arm on the right side has 2 scratches, the left has 3. On the lower, the left has 2, and the right has 3. Uneven lengths. And while the anatomy looks good porportion wise in the sketch to the right of that, you are making his torso SIGNIFICANTLY smaller and thinner than it actually is. I made one in green to show how it actually is.
As you can see, in the green outline, the legs are EXTEREMELY short compared to the overall torso size.
Before anybody says "Well, you can't get sprites to look just like sketches": That is true, but I have seen sprites for a few of these sketches that were nearly perfect: One for the roaring pose was nigh flawless in terms of actual accuracy, and a couple for the bottom set: These had the had pretty off, but the sprites themselves were super small, if you scaled the body up it'd still be under the size limit and the head would have been fine.
