to nobody's surprise: I solo'd the Elite 4 and Cynthia with Giratina. to my surprise: it was not at all as easy as I thought it'd be. there were way too many times when, not just with Giratina, but throughout the entire game, my Pokémon would be left at low health due to a nasty crit or some other miscalculation. I had to use Max Potions with how often I got pushed into a corner at the E4.
some close calls at the E4 were Bertha's Rhyperior survived Earth Power (in Sandstorm) at literally 1 HP and then got a powered-up Avalanche. Cynthia's Garchomp survived Dragon Claw also at literally 1 HP and fucking MISSED with Dragon Rush (I had about half HP but still green, not sure if I could have survived a STAB 100 BP move with no DEF buffs). putting aside Gyarados getting killed by a crit Poison Jab, this run was legitimately blessed with how many times my mons cheated death.
