With that said, I absolutely must name anything I have personally bred and trained, and I’ll go from mythological names to real names to nicknames based on the personality of the species. For instance, I regard my Weavile as Kunai due to its sharp claws, my Lycanroc as Comet due to its rock typing, and Scolipede as Velvet due to its HA and crimson body. If I can’t think of names, I steal names from the Elder Scrolls, like Zurin for my Zoroark, and Magnus for my Alakazam.
