Lockstin suggests that Team Break might even be just a facade for him to fight against and look cool). He's a millionare prince and he's the founder of the artificial island of Pasio, which he created with the purpose of reuniting trainers from all around the world, but particularly looking for a trainer with a cap (basically a protagonist, but it's unknown who) who defeated him in battle years ago.
Even as right now there are 18 chapters, the story doesn't actually ends there. More about him in future updates.
Under his shades, he has some quite expressive eyes, he probably removes the shades at some point in the game.
