After hogging all of the experience from the last few major battles and catching up to the rest of the squad, The Clamps was tanking Self-Destructs and slaying Nuzlocke Killers left and right to avenge Daenerys, and IceIceBaby was hitting Blizzards for days (until I noticed how often it was hitting at which point it started missing every other time).
My first encounter on Cycling Road was the last Pokemon I hadn't encountered yet, Lapras. Neat. It Perish Songed but I managed to get one hit in and caught it in a Heavy Ball on the last turn. Janine was a snooze-fest as usual. Come on game, this is supposed to be a challenge. I got the Super Rod and it taunted me with ghosts of teammates past. It's Route 26 all over again. And then the legend-cucking began anew with my first non-dupe encounter being Caterpie only for me to accidentally use the rod again and fish up a Lugia. I still have one Master Ball left, please stop trolling me dammit. Speaking of Lugia, we Silver Wing now. Brock was a pushover too, no surprise there. Two badges to go.
