I disagree, it's very obvious if you know what you're looking for. Keep an eye on the mane. If it's lighter than the fur, it's shiny.
It can be a little more tricky at night or in cloudy conditions due to lighting, but I don't think I've ever missed one.

Nah, I'm legally blind without my glasses. Once you see the normal version so many times, the difference is easier to spot. Also, this wasn't at night!

Today I found a Mankey in 59 minutes. Short hunts always appreciated, especially as a full odds hunter. Also got a nice Tauros in just 15 minutes. Very underrated shiny if you ask me.
