That is to say nothing of the catastrophes to come when say the generators at a nuclear plant that has shut itself down has stop feeding power to the pump systems that feed water to cooling pools containing ton after ton of spent nuclear fuel each about as hot as the elephant foot days after Chernobyl. That water boils off you essentially have a meltdown without a reactor. And that's only one thing that will kill us with no humans around.
