You can use 721 Pokemon in ORAS and can complete the entire National Dex sinply by trading with X and Y and don't need to transfer from Gen 3, 4, or 5. On the other hand, you can only use 493 Pokemon in BDSP and it won't be not compatible with SwSh or PLA except through Home.
