>>51130778This is why I’m skeptical of the starter evolution details from Khu. I don’t think he’s lying or completely inaccurate, but he’s been confused about the theme/inspiration of Pokémon before and there are also translation troubles.
I believe, for example, that Quaxly’s final evo probably has flashy feathers and a graceful fighting style, but I’m not convinced it was directly based on dancers and I HIGHLY doubt it becomes a literal peacock just because Khu said so once Kaka started stealing his thunder.
