We, ourselves are those gods.
When we see, when we hear and feel these storys, we consume them, digest them and use the parts to create worlds of them.
The Authors may give the character life, and a tragic and never ending life, but we can give them our own stories.
In our heads, we can give them happy lifes, luck and safety.
We just have to give them a piece of ourselves, instead of only using the authors ideas.
It may sometimes feel fake, but that is just because, it is not the ending you would have giving them.
It will truely feel real, when you give them a little of your heart.
