Been a while since I updated this, so this is post-Fantina & Byron. Fantina was pretty easy, her Drifblim kept trying to Strength sap Damvir the Rampardos, so he kept using Rock Polish and Swords Dance, and it was an easy sweep from there.
Byron was different. I was a little overleveled for this fight, so to make it balanced, I left behind Qliphoth, my most overleveled Pokemon at the time. Bronzor went down super easy, but his Steelix was a different story. He went for the Earthquake immediately on Naomi when I switched in, and I knew this thing had Sturdy so if I went for the Surf, Naomi would die. My only plan was to send in Golorr, hope it outspeeds, and go for Hypnosis. Which worked, but then when I healed Naomi using my single heal item, the fucking Steelix woke up after one turn and Earthquaked, killing Golorr. RIP buddy, you got screwed twice: once for not having Levitate, the other by a bullshit one-turn sleep. After that, Naomi was able to safely two-hit KO the Steelix, and Bastiodon was a pretty easy two-hit KO for Ribbitar. Tentatively, we're adding Tootsie the Hoothoot because I realized how badly my team needs a ground-resistance (especially knowing the endgame...) and it has Psychic coverage. Also, not using my Staravia because I already had one die, and my team has plenty of physical coverage.
>>48875951I almost lost my Bibarel to that Aftermath. Literally one HP. Thoughts & prayers, Anon.
>>48873607This is a very cute template Anon, teach me your ways to make it not look ugly. Also, nice team; unfortunate that you lost your starter, but I love Slowbro in Nuzlockes, and Jumpluff is actually criminally underrated.
>>48873439Congrats Anon! And I hope you're doing alright too
