Ladies and gentlemen, I have hatched a Larvitar. 50th Box (I think, anyways. I may have lost count once or twice. The official number on my leading egg box was set to 50 last night after finishing what I was counting as box 49).
I still need to level it up to stat calc it but it is only missing Special Defense. Even if it is in the 1 - 10 IV range, it's still useable for me because this is a Quiet Tyranitar build. I run 100 EVs in Special Attack but could probably move 48 of those to Special Defense to compensate (I doubt it will make the different in terms of Fire Blast 1hko'ing Scizor and Ferrothorn)... Considering that Tyranitar has always been the benchmark member of my team, this is a pretty epic day for me.
Also, yes, I had just gotten to the part in Sunshine (2007) where they rendezvous with the Icarus_1. ALL OF THE SUSPENSE!!!
